There are so many wonderful ways to become involved in the ATC. One of the greatest is to volunteer! We are always looking for folks to help out where they feel they can. Some areas where we regularly need support:
Ushering concerts and competition events, and greeting at Salons
Set up and tear down at Salons and competition events
Parking navigation at Salons
Ticket sales at events, especially competition events (must be extremely comfortable with technology, including bluetooth and navigating wifi issues)
Backstage help, including stage management and navigation concerns
Hosting a contestant in your home, offering rides or loaning a vehicle
To host a contestant in your home is to develop a close relationship with a professional musician. Oftentimes, these relationships are long-lasting, and artists and hosts will share major life milestones together, attending performances, sometimes family weddings, and visiting one another in different cities. This is a special bond, that we are pleased to offer. Each contestant host is offered two tickets to the performance round their artist is singing in, with the exception of the Finals.
